The CISM Exam Prep course will provide a detailed overview of the tasks, knowledge and skills needed to successfully complete the ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) examination. The CISM credential is recognized as the premier certification for Information Security Managers, and is preferred by both corporate and government information security departments. In fact, the CISM meets all of the US Department of Defense (DoD) 8570.01-M requirements for Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Levels II and III as well as Computer Network Defense-Service Provider (CND-SP) Manager.
This 40 hour course includes lecture, discussion, case studies and sample examination questions covering all four subject areas of the examination to prepare participants to earn the CISM certification. Topics include detailed coverage of Information Security Governance; Information Risk Management and Compliance; Information Security Program Development; and Information Security Incident Management. The skills learned in this course along with required industry experience and education will qualify individuals for certification as Information Security Managers upon successful completion of the examination. This course includes ISACA CISM Review Manual, study aids, sample test questions, suggestions and discussion aimed at preparing candidates to pass the examination.
