CHLD 2059: Observing and Recording the Creative Process in Young Children
This course addresses how observation is one of the best methods to determine the progress made by children in the area of creativity. Appropriate methods of observation including anecdotal records, checklists, and recording project work will be reviewed. Participants will also learn to develop portfolios of children's work and use it in analyzing a child's development through the year. The importance of the creative process versus the product will also be discussed.
