CHLD 2067: Management of Injuries and Acute Illness in Early Childhood


This course will examine the difference between emergency care and first aid. A review of the ABCs for assessing emergencies will be conducted. The teacher's role and responsibilities as they relate to management of unintentional injuries and acute illness will be discussed. The licensing regulations related to safety and illness issues will also be reviewed.
