CHLD 2063: Health Makes a Difference in Early Childhood


This course addresses factors influencing children's health, the concepts of preventive health and promoting a healthy lifestyle for children and families. Child growth and development will be reviewed as it relates to potential health issues. The role of observation in daily health checks and screenings will be discussed. The need for written policies in the area of health issues in child care will also be presented.
