CHLD 2065: Controlling Communicable Illness in the Early Childhood Classroom

This course will define communicable illness, list the factors required for an infection to be communicable, and discuss control measures that teachers can use to reduce communicable illnesses. The signs and symptoms of childhood communicable diseases will be addressed.  The family's role in controlling the spread of communicable illness will also be discussed.
