CHLD 2064: Chronic Health Conditions in Early Childhood


This course will address chronic health conditions including children with special needs, allergies, asthma, diabetes, fetal alcohol syndrome, fetal alcohol effect, lead poisoning, seizure disorders, sickle cell anemia in young children and the teacher's role in managing chronic health conditions in the group setting. Observing and recording observations made during the daily health check will also be reviewed.
