WordPress is one of the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management system in existence today. In this class, students will learn to navigate and customize the WordPress work environment (dashboard). Participants will create and format both posts and static pages, learning a little HTML along the way. Participants will incorporate media on pages and posts, and add tags to help readers find posts. The class concludes with basic customization of a site by modifying themes and menus, and installation of plug-ins and widgets to further extend the power of WordPress.
