| This class will introduce the Learner to the Adobe InDesign multi-page layout program and help them use it to design a printable publication. Learners will be given an overview of the programs key features, tools and capabilities through demonstrations and tutorials, with a focus on creating a publication that can be easily reproduced on routine basis (i.e. a monthly newsletter or magazine). The class will also cover principles of page design including choosing and using typography appropriately, placing and cropping images and visual hierarchy. This class touches on the same points as the InDesign section of the CS Suite class, but goes more in depth and gives students more time to work on a final product.
