Manual Flight, Safety and Crew Resource Management

This course is intended to provide beginning operational mission related concepts to remote pilots. It will focus on aspects of manual flight, and will allow students to practice flying different drones in a variety of applications.  Emphasize will be placed on the ethical, legal and safe use of small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) in the National Airspace System.  Students will be grouped together to develop communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to plan and implement sUAS missions to collect data.
