Introduction Server-Side JavaScript (NodeJS) & Serverless Computing

In this workshop the main goal is to learn server-side JavaScript programming. Server-side JavaScript is known as NodeJS or node.js. We will use Lambda functions and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB in the
AWS cloud.  Prerequisites:  Introduction to Cloud and Serverless computing with Amazon Web Services course and prior knowledge programming concepts and databases (any programming language, any database).  NodeJS can be used to create complete web applications, connect to databases as well as implement standard programming functions. Although this course will cover a wide range of uses as well as learning the core syntax, the primary focus will be for use in cloud-based Lambda functions on AWS and connecting to a database for Serverless computing.
