Arc Flash Electrical Safety

The Arc Flash Electrical Safety course is based on the 2018 NFPA 70E standard. It is intended as training to support an Electrical Safe Work Program (ESWP) and satisfy its administrative controls requirement of documented training.

This course includes the Basics of Electrical Hazards in the work place, Top 2018 NFPA 70E updates;  Electrical Safety Program Requirements; Arc Flash Analysis Engineering study; Risk Assessment and Control; Procedures and local plant applied processes; A New Emphasis on Maintenance; Consider Human Error (new 2018 subsection for general requirements for safety related work practices); Discussion of rushed, unplanned and ideas around everyday task turning bad; Incident Investigations (new 2018 subsection for general requirements for safety related work practices); and Multi-Employer worksites and electrical safety programs host and contract employers.
