| Workshop participants will learn how to access career resources within the WIA, VEC and the Virginia Community College System. Participants will explore potential barriers to career options, review career assessments and necessary paperwork completion, learn to recognize immediate and future needs as well as the difference between personal employment goals and their interaction. Topics discussed will be different assessments, websites that are career resources, soft and hardwork, and a description of the state agencies and their differing roles and how to access their programs.
