History of Disability and Elder Civil Rights

Like every minority group that has overcome discrimination, public invisibility and misunderstanding, people with disabilities and the elderly have fought for their rights to be included and accepted in our society. In this interactive workshop, students will explore civil rights and how the past energizes us for the future. Learn to appreciate how things have progressed and what changes still need to be made.
