Process Improvement

This interactive work session explores the concept and practical work application of process improvement. Participants will learn to recognize the difference between organizational focus and a continuous improvement mindset. While being introduced to basic Lean and Six Sigma concepts, participants will explore examples of how linking business drivers to measurements impact a business, understand the concepts of TAM, recognize the value of standardized work, and realize the impact of excessive inventory. Participants will also explore root cause analysis and processing mapping tools.  

Topics covered: introduction to the continuous improvement mindset, total quality management, Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle, policy design and implementation, relationship mapping, introduction to Lean concepts and waste and introduction to Six Sigma concepts.
