| Gallup research has shown that engaging students in what they are interested in and where they excel will lead to the outcomes of better academic performance, higher test scores, and ultimately students'' ability to reach their full potential. Based on this research, Gallup has developed strengths-based assessments to help students identify and capitalize on their strengths. Faculty use the StrengthsFinder to support student learning in First Year Experience (FYE) courses. This course is designed for a wide array of higher education personnel including people at the beginning of of their career to seasoned professionals.
