The CompTIA Network+ Certification prep program prepares participants to configure, manage, and troubleshoot common wired devices and wireless network devices. The course also has emphasis on: critical security concepts, key cloud computing best practices and typical service models, newer hardware and virtualization techniques, and other tools required to maintain network security and guard against network attacks. Exam and materials included.
Classes are held online via Zoom and Canvas.
Class structure will include 40 hours of synchronous instruction, 4 hours of review and will require an additional 8 hours of asynchronous study time for exam preparation.
Minimum total class time is 52 hours.
Pre-requisites: CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ Certification or prior IT Networking platform work experience. CompTIA A+ Certification is strongly encouraged to ensure successful understanding of Network terminologies.
Expected: You must attend 70% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, and sit for the Industry Credential exam. Credential exams will be taken upon the conclusion of class, information will be provided in Canvas.
