ATTENTION! This self-study certification opportunity is intended ONLY for individuals that have significant prior industry experience. There is online supplemental course material provided. You will be mailed ONLY a course manual to study with and use as a reference during your open-book test attempt. The best way to prepare for the test is to attend an instructor-led course.
The certification will cover nuclear density testing, one-point proctor and "Speedy" moisture, construction and testing of embankments and subgrade, pipe installation, roller patterns and reports.
Once registered, your book and an information packet will be mailed* within 14 business days. Participants must pass the written competency AND the (additional cost) 1 on 1 proficiency examination to be certified. Both proctored exams must be scheduled by June 30, 2023. Exams MUST be completed by June 30, 2023. Additional proctor fees may apply.
*Class materials CANNOT be mailed to a Post Office Box.
