The MS is a required prerequisite for the MT1 certification. The Manufacturing Specialist (MS) certification course focuses on industry-wide manufacturing technical skills, and industry applied math and measurement concepts. This course will expose students to the critical areas of manufacturing and production, as well as the applied technology principals that support the manufacturing process. The instruction focuses on the critical actions, STEM knowledge, and the systems and processes necessary to participate in an advanced manufacturing enterprise. It is a highly specialized program based on the techniques and interrelationships found in high performance manufacturing and production.
