The EducateVA program is designed for professionals who wish to become teachers through a career switcher pathway. Level I is comprised of online and face-to-face instruction. Level II is the support phase of the program during the first year of teaching.
 
The Level I program consists of an 18-week semester, focusing on the following modules: 
  • Foundations of Teaching 
  • Instructional Design 
  • Teaching and Learning Content Methods 
  • Teaching Reading in the Content Area 
  • Classroom Management 
  • Current Trends and Issues in Education 
  • Assessment, Data, and Feedback
