CCWA Healthcare Orientation-Start Here!

This free online orientation is required for all students enrolling in a CCWA healthcare program. It’s your first step toward a successful training experience and career in healthcare! Please use a computer or laptop when accessing the following sites.

What to Expect:
In this self-paced course, you will get an overview of the healthcare programs we offer and explore the support services and funding options available to help you succeed. You will also learn what to expect as a CCWA student, both in and out of the classroom.

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
  • EKG Technician (CET)
  • Certified Medical Biller
  • Certified Medical Coder
  • Nurse Aide
  • Medication Administration (Medication Aide)
  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Emergency Telecommunicator (911 Dispatcher)
  • Medication Aide
How to Get Started:
Step 1: Register for this free orientation course (add to cart and check out).
Please allow 24 hours for the class to populate in Canvas after checking out in Step 1.

Step 2: Log in to the Canvas class here:  https://vccs.instructure.com (This login will be different from the login information used on CCWA's website.)
If you do not know your USERNAME, please click on "Forgot Username" and follow the prompts. You will need to create a password for your account; you can do so by clicking on "Forgot Password" and following the prompts. Once you have set your password, write this down as you will use this login information repeatedly to access the course.

Step 3: Log in and complete the orientation modules in order. Registration and Tuition assistance paperwork are included in the modules.

Step 4: Submit all required documents for review. Directions on where to submit completed paperwork are included in the orientation.

Step 5: Once you have completed the orientation, a CCWA team member will contact you and complete
your registration for the healthcare course.
