CCWA Healthcare New Student Orientation

CCWA Healthcare Orientation-Start Here!

This free online orientation is required for all students enrolling in a CCWA healthcare program. It’s your first step toward a successful training experience and career in healthcare!

What to Expect:
In this self-paced course, you will get an overview of the healthcare programs we offer and explore the support services and funding options available to help you succeed. You will also learn what to expect as a CCWA student, both in and out of the classroom.

Programs Covered:
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
  • EKG Technician (CET)
  • Certified Medical Biller
  • Certified Medical Coder
  • Nurse Aide
  • Medication Administration (Medication Aide)
  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Emergency Telecommunicator (911 Dispatcher)
How to Get Started:
Step 1: Register for this free orientation course (add to cart and check out).
Step 2: Log in to the class here:  https://vccs.instructure.com

If you do not know your USERNAME, please click on "Forgot Username" and follow the prompts. You will need to create a password for your account. Once you have set your password, write this down as you will use this login information repeatedly to access the course materials and assignments. 
If you need help accessing your VCCS email account, see the How-To: Checking Your Student Email video. The Help Hub is also available for technical assistance via text (804-476-0401), phone (804-796-4000), or email (Helphub@brightpoint.edu) .

Step 3: Log in and complete the orientation modules in order.

Step 4: Submit all required documents.

Step 5: Once you have completed orientation, a CCWA team member will contact you and complete
your registration for the healthcare course.
