Do you work in an environment marked by frequent change?  We all do.  Organizations have never had a greater need for people skilled at leading change.  This workshop provides participants with a set of tools that they can use to help themselves and others to more effectively plan, lead, and cope with workplace change.  We focus on skills to help individuals understand change and then be able to respond to change in a more adaptive, resilient way.  Participants will develop a more detailed understanding of how they and others typically respond to change, which will help them to facilitate change at work, whether in a management role or an informal leadership role.

What You Will Learn

After this workshop, you will be able to:
  • Understand the stage or phases that people go through in response to change.
  • Adapt your leadership and communication styles to the specific and changing needs of your team members.
  • Reduce instances of low self-confidence in the face of change.
  • Lessen the pain and fear of change.
  • Increase resilience.
  • Strategically prepare for introducing a change.
  • Create a vision and communication plan for a change effort.
  • Help others become more adaptive and ready for change.
  • Reduce resistance to change.
  • Develop a range of techniques that can help people to identify personal strategies for change, including one-on-one conversations with those involved in a change effort.
