The Certified Associate in Python Programming certification prep program prepares participants to accomplish coding tasks related to the basics of programming in the Python language and the fundamental notions and techniques used in object-oriented programming. This course also emphasizes the general computer programming concepts like conditional execution, loops, Python programming language syntax, semantics, and the runtime environment, as well as with general coding techniques. Exam and materials included.

Pre-requisite: Must have knowledge of Algebra.  IT work experience or the CompTIA It Fundamentals+ Certification is strongly encouraged for success. 

Classes are held online via Zoom and Canvas. 
Class structure will include 72 hours of synchronous instruction and will require additional asynchronous study time for exam preparation.
Additional review sessions are scheduled at the conclusion of class(es), information will be provided in Canvas.

Expected: You must attend 70% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, and sit for the Industry Credential exam. Credential exams will be taken upon the conclusion of class, information will be provided in Canvas.
