This program will encompass testing of aggregates, job mixes, specifications, production sampling and stockpiling, automated data processing forms, pay quantities, titration, quality assurance and modified acceptance programs. Students must pass a proficiency examination to be certified. CALCULATOR, SAFETY GLASSES, AND SAFETY SHOES REQUIRED.
This Self-Study only includes a book, and does not include virtual or online training materials
You must schedule your own in-person, open book, proctored test at CCWA or a participating Community College testing center.
This course is Self-Study. Testing information will be mailed with the book. Completion of BOTH the computer based general knowledge test AND the one-on-one proctored proficiency test must be completed by Nov 30, 2026

Refund Policy :
Participants may withdraw and receive a full refund provided a written request in received at least 5 business days before the class is scheduled to begin. Withdrawals must be completed by notifying CCWA in writing by email to vdothelp@ccwa.vccs.edu. No refund will be issued if the request is made less than 5 business days prior to the class start date. For VDOT Self Study programs, once materials have been printed and shipped, material costs have been incurred and we can no longer issue a refund. No exceptions. |
