This program will encompass testing of aggregates, job mixes, specifications, production sampling and stockpiling, automated data processing forms, pay quantities, titration, quality assurance and modified acceptance programs. Students must pass a proficiency examination to be certified.

You must schedule your own in-person, open book, proctored test at CCWA or a participating Community College testing center.
CCWA is offering a lower priced, FastForward grant funded VDOT Central Mix Aggregate Plant course that is subsidized by the Virginia General Assembly; it is intended for Virginia residents only. It is a grant designed to
quickly give eligible individuals access to important credential training courses, and therefore, has important time constraints for completion of tests. FastForward grant guidelines specify a time requirement to complete all tests necessary for full certification.
This course is Self-Study. When you agree to the FastForward course price, you agree to complete the computer-based, proctored general knowledge test by 06/30/2024. Testing dates can be found at:

Refund Policy :
Participants may withdraw and receive a full refund provided a written request in received at least 5 business days before the class is scheduled to begin. Withdrawals must be completed by notifying CCWA in writing by email to trainer@ccwa.vccs.edu, or to claney@ccwa.vccs.edu. No refund will be issued if the request is made less than 5 business days prior to the class start date. For VDOT Self Study programs, once materials have been printed and shipped, material costs have been incurred and we can no longer issue a refund. No exceptions.
