This course offers an introduction and overview of the human brain as it relates to child care and the ages and stages of development.

Course Topics:
  • Learn the function and physical makeup of the brain. 
  • Explain the "Windows of Learning" associated with language, acquisition, large/small motor skills, reading comprehension, social skills, etc. 
  • Realize the importance of nurturing for successful brain development.
