VDOT SELF-STUDY: Central Mix Aggregate Plant with Proficiency NO TESTING UNTIL JANUARY 10, 2027

This program will encompass testing of aggregates, job mixes, specifications, production sampling and stockpiling, automated data processing forms, pay quantities, titration, quality assurance and modified acceptance programs.   Students must pass a proficiency examination to be certified.

This Self-Study only includes a book, and does not include virtual or online training materials.

You must schedule your own in-person, open book,  proctored test at CCWA or a participating Community College testing center. Instructions will be included with the mailed book.  The mailed book will arrive within 2-3 weeks of registration.  The cost for the proficiency test is included with the registration cost of this course.

You must complete the proficiency exam (included with purchase price) in the same calendar year as the general knowledge computer base test for complete certification.  Contact jmcgarry@ccwa.vccs.edu to schedule your proficiency exam.  

The general knowledge exam must be completed by Nov. 30, and the proficiency must be complete by Dec. 13.
